Electrants provide energy and data exactly where they are needed: at hand height. In protected outdoor areas, such as factory premises, sockets and other equipment are located on the outside. In outdoor areas open to the public, where weather conditions as well as child safety and vandalism play a role, sockets and other equipment are better and safer behind solidly hinged, 6 mm thick stainless steel doors with safety locks. StarConnex electrants with doors are only available in size EL200 (200 x 200 mm / 7.87" x 7.87" cross-section). The standard height is 1 m. The electrants are provided with module slots behind the upper door for individual fitting of size 4 modules. In addition to socket modules, the StarConnex range offers a wide selection of data to water modules and many other applications. Thanks to the module technology it is possible to simply replace devices with others regardless of their hole pattern. This means permanent flexibility in the assembly. Distributors are equipped with stainless steel top-hat rails for individual equipping with electronic electricity meters, circuit breakers and RCD switches, flasher relays, small controllers and others. The integration of the fuses in the electrants enables different sockets to be supplied via a common supply line. StarConnex electrants are very durable and low maintenance. They are generally made of stainless steel and are well manufactured. Highest technical standard is combined with convincing optics. Powder coatings are additionally applied in all RAL colours on request.
